Nominations for all positions of the AFSCME Local 3580 2019-21 Executive Board will be accepted through noon, Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.

Nominations may be sent to the Elections Committee via email to
elections@afscme3580.org or in-person at the September General Membership meeting: Wednesday, Sept. 19, noon to 1 pm, Room 270, Metro Regional Center, Portland.

Elections
In any case where there is only one nominee, and that nominee has accepted the nomination, the unopposed candidate will be declared elected. If more than one candidate is nominated for any one position, elections for position(s) shall be held the week of Nov. 12, 2018.

Positions and eligibility
To be eligible for office, a member must be in good standing for one year immediately preceding the election. Nominations are open for the following 10 positions:
-     President            - Vice president
-     Chief steward      - Treasurer
-     Secretary            - Temporary staff representative

-     Site representatives for each of these sites/workgroups: Metro Regional Center; Oregon Convention Center and Portland Expo; SW Sites (Central, South, Paint, SJL); and Oregon Zoo.
